The Weapon Brown comic miniseries first appeared in Deep Fried, and is a parody of Charles Schulz's classic Peanuts characters.

Plot summary

This details the basic story and concepts of Weapon Brown as the title character searches for his abducted girlfriend.

Weapon Brown is set in a post apocalyptic time period, and in a completely sci-fi setting. Weapon Brown is, himself, a cyborg in that he has a mechanical arm, and it is hinted that he may have had genetic re-engineering done to him as he says at least twice that he is no ordinary man, and it is also explained that he was experimented on for several years, including the experiment which gave him his mechanical arm. (Which bears a classic radiation insignia, indicating he may be carrying around a miniature nuclear reactor in it.)

Weapon Brown is first seen as a child, watching stealth bombers dropping strange devices (later called Zinger Bombs) which leave half the planet uninhabitable. Roughly ten to fifteen, perhaps twenty years later, Weapon Brown enters a bar, looking for information about a Doctor Van Pelt. He questions a piano player, making use of his cybernetic arm and his dog, Snoopy. (This is indeed a beagle, but is not the classic Snoopy. This one is not made anthromorphic, but rather is a normal dog, who has a cybernetic left eye.) After getting directions to a whorehouse run by an old friend, he finds his way to the underground lair of Dr. Van Pelt, and after a brief encounter, finds his target, a man named Linus, who Weapon Brown reveals has kidnapped Weapon Brown's girlfriend.
