Poo-Chi
Super Poo-Chi is some-what a sequel to the original Poo-Chi, by Tiger Toys. It was larger, and had more features. more...
Description
The Super Poo-Chi, like the other Robo-Chi pets, came in a variety of colours. The Super Poo-Chi was larger than the original Poo-Chi. The Super Poo-Chi had the same sensors as Poo-Chi, minus the light sensor. The main improvement was the sound sensor, which used voice-recongition technology so you could give it a name and teach it tricks. The four legs were controlled separatly this time, so sitting, standing and lying down are possible. The Super Poo-Chi had a more complex growth chart this time, with three possible outcomes: Lazy, Adverage, and Reliable. When you first start up Super Poo-Chi, you have the option of starting with a Reliable Super Poo-Chi, or start from Puppy Stage and raise it. The possible tricks it could learn were Sit, Lie down, Paw(or Shake), and Sing. Nowadays, the voice recongition is sub-par, only half the time does it recongise your voice and teaching it your voice from the start was incredibly hard. At the time of it's creation, however, this was new technology and very expensive.
Self Destruction
There have instances, from both inadequate care, battery shortage, sunlight, and others that caused Super Poo-Chi to break, but an odder (and to fans, sadder) one is self-destruction. This is common where playing with Super Poo-Chi on carpet is impossible. As a puppy, Super Poo-Chi sits and gets up and lot, and one action is of it trying to walk. This is shown by having it stand up, and put one paw out, and fall on it, then fall over completely, back to lying down position. This is fall is hard on the toy, because it's legs are larger than the original. This can cause it's insides to literally snap.
